The company has an environmental focus on the treatment of agriculture waste and waste water through the implementation of an advanced anaerobic digester and associated water treatment. The anaerobic digestion has a very short hydraulic retention time, while operating in an atmosphere of high water volumes and low percentage of solids. Due to the short HRT, the digester has a much smaller footprint on the farm, with attendant benefits associated with this size. Design modification are incorporated for operations in the extreme climatic conditions associated with the Northern USA and Canadian Praries. Methane production from digester operation is converted to electricty through low emission internal combustion engines. A complete heat recovery system is attached to assist in decreasing utility costs. Water treatment brings the normal flush water back to discharge standards, animal drinking water standards or higher. This water can be recycled utilizing it as barn flush water, wash down water, and subject to quality desired, drinking water.
